Myriad Genetics Announces Cancer Research Collaboration With JanssenBRACAnalysis(R) Testing Will be Performed in Phase 3 Clinical Trial
SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 9, 2013 -- (Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network) -- Myriad Genetics, Inc. (MYGN) today announced that Janssen Research & Development, LLC, will use Myriad's BRACAnalysis test in connection with its Phase 3 clinical trial of Yondelis(R) (trabectedin) in the treatment of advanced-relapsed epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal or fallopian tube cancers (NCT01846611). Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Myriad's BRACAnalysis is the gold standard diagnostic test to confirm the presence of a BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutations. BRACAnalysis has been used by approximately 60,000 healthcare providers to test more than 1 million patients.
