Southern Spine Expands Sales to Europe and Announces New Configurations of Its StabiLink(R) “Ultimate MIS” Spinal Fixation System

MACON, Ga.--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--Southern Spine, LLC, an ISO 13485:2003 certified manufacturer of implants and instruments for spinal surgery, announced today that they have established an agreement with a major Italian distributor and have already performed numerous successful cases of its patented StabiLink® MIS Spinal Fixation System. “Now that our StabiLink® System is CE Marked, as well as FDA Cleared, we are excited to begin expanding our global distribution beyond the US market,” stated David C. Field, CEO of Southern Spine. “We will continue to locate other qualified spine distributors throughout the world that are interested in having our best-in-class system in their portfolio.”

“The principle benefit of the StabiLink® System is that it is placed between the spinous processes, away from the neural elements,” said Michael Cowan MD, Neurosurgeon at Carolina Medical Center. He further stated, “The anterior 'tray' design of the StabiLink® implant creates an ideal containment area for the maximum amount of bone graft material to optimize bony fixation between the spinous process.”

Based on our experience in performing hundreds of successful StabiLink® MIS Spinal Implant procedures, we are adding the new C2 Base Plate and C2 Lamina Plate to our previously released C3 Base Plate to provide the ultimate solutions for minimally invasive spinal fixation procedures. To date, we have already been issued three (3) U.S. Patents on our StabiLink System including our innovative Precision Guided (PG) Instrument that truly redefines ease-of-use. “We have found that once a surgeon uses our PGTM Inserter/Compressor to implant our StabiLink® MIS implant, they fully appreciate how simple and complete our system is and how it has significantly reduced the 'fiddle-factor' and surgery time associated with other instrumentation,” stated Mr. Field. The PGTM Inserter/Compressor is the first and only All-in-One instrument that redefines ease-of-use and allows the surgeon to quickly and accurately place the StabiLink® Implant with or without removal of the interspinous ligaments.

You can get a “Hands On” demonstration of the innovative StabiLink® MIS System at:
