Accuray Awarded Multi-System Order by 21st Century OncologySUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 21, 2015 -- (Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network) -- Accuray Incorporated (ARAY) announced today it has received a multi-system order from 21st Century Oncology for one CyberKnife® M6™ and four TomoHDA™ Systems. These are the latest generation CyberKnife and TomoTherapy Systems, and are used worldwide to provide extremely precise radiation treatments for cancerous and non-cancerous tumors throughout the body. The TomoTherapy Systems will replace conventional linear accelerators in single vault freestanding centers, reinforcing the TomoTherapy's value as a mainstream radiation therapy device. Accuray booked the order in its first fiscal quarter of 2016.
