Teva Canada Announces the Launch of PrTeva-Moxifloxacin Tablet, a generic of PrAvelox(R)
TORONTO, Nov. 10, 2015 (Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network) - Teva Canada Limited, a subsidiary of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., announced that Health Canada has approved its application for a generic version of PrAvelox® for the treatment of adults with respiratory tract infections, including acute bacterial sinusitis, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and community acquired pneumonia of mild to moderate severity.In Canada, PrAvelox® had annual sales of approximately $28.4 million based on IMS Brogan sales data as of September 2015 . PrTeva-Moxifloxacin is available immediately in pharmacies across Canada.
