Independent Sales Agents (West Coast Market)
We are looking for seasoned health care sales professionals interested in working as an independent sales agent with a realistic earning potential of $75k++ in your 1st year or people looking to adding our product to your current lines. Our company is in the process of expanding its direct sales division on the West Coast. This position offers a high commission that is paid from dollar one of gross sales. You will be representing an established healthcare furniture company line of sleeper chairs, recliners and sofa furniture to hospitals, clinics and related markets. You would be representing the manufacturer directly.
Experience in systems furniture, seating, case goods or office products industry is helpful. Must have a persuasive personality and excellent computer skills. Medical, hospital or office furniture industry experience is a plus.
Requirements:
We are currently looking for energetic, motivated individuals who are interested in getting their foot in the door with a leading healthcare furniture company. The health care market has been very stable over the last 18 months as is set to expand once again. In this role, you will partner with management and outside sales to develop leads, prospects and overall business relationships throughout the West Coast Region.
Successful candidates should possess the following minimum qualifications:
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Outside sales experience preferred (5year minimum)
• Medical sales experience a plus
• Solid familiarity with the local area/market
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Demonstrated success in previous commissioned sales opportunities
• Be a 'self-starter' and a team player
• Able to work on straight commission
Our ideal candidate will posses a drive and hunger to learn and grow. This will require a lot of cold calling (in-person and over the phone). Patience and tenacity are required for long-term success in this dynamic and exciting role. Excellent time management, written and verbal communication, and listening skills are essential. Candidates must have demonstrated good business judgment, thorough follow-up skills, and creativity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet is also required. Criminal background investigation and drug screen required. This is a 1099 position. No health benefits are offered. Reps are given a company phone number and voicemail, as well as email. Candidates must currently reside locally.
