Advise on interview for medical device sales job

Hello I am going against some experienced medical device sales reps. I have extensive experience in other areas of the healthcare industry but I haven't been in the hospital environment. Can anyone give me advise on the best way to find prospects and how to get around in the hospital? What are the barriers and how you break through them? I am sure these questions will come up and would love some specific advise. There is already a customer base that I would manage so how do I leverage that to build new accounts and how should i qualified new prospects? Any feedback is appreciated!!
