Hello everyone. This is my first post. Our company has been a medical service business for 20 years and we have expanded into other areas. We have recently signed contracts with 4 hospitals to receive all their used and unwanted medical equipment. We have put together a list of wholesale buyers and continually search for company's to add. If you refurbish equipment and are looking to buy items at and below normal wholesale cost, please send your name, company address, phone, e-mail and items you buy to me at dave34@comcast.net . Our company, Sigma Medical Equipment Services, Inc. is based on Long Island with offices in New Jersey. We focus on the northeast and midatlantic but have buyers coast to coast. If you're interested and send me your contact information, we will send you updates via e-mail as items become available. We don't run an auction, we simply want to move the equipment as quickly as possible so prompt responses are required. Also, your ability to pick up equipment and save us that responsibility will make things easier. Items are usually picked up and delivered directly from the hospital we have contracted with.

"Yep, the used medical equipment market has exploded since about 2006. There was a great need for it in the 2008 crash, since many small hospitals had lower profits during those years. So, the smaller hospitals where I live turned to buying the equipment used instead.
Right now, our small hospital in Idaho is still buying used equipment. I think it just makes better sense, if the equipment is not super critical, but useful.
I know there was a C-arm picked up 2 months ago from the Mazree.com auctions. Sometimes the equipment comes in from eBay sellers. Yep. At least that is what the guys in the purchasing department said."
