Job Objectives: Generate new sales in a designated territory. Perform cold calls to Medical Professional offices, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and Hospitals to gain new prospects. Capable of following up with leads generated through marketing campaigns, tradeshows and locate new customers. Inquire for new business and close sales in a manner that create and build relationship with the customer. Attend industry trade shows and conferences to market, create leads, and build brand in market.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Ability to gain product and market knowledge in order to generate business. Increase sales to an acceptable manner in a target market and expand into new dynamic markets. Up sell current customers on new software applications and modules. Provide market research, industry trends, and feedback from territory. Create sales forecast and projections in the territory.
Specifications: Looking for a self-motivated individual with a professional and energetic personality. Individual must be capable of gaining knowledge of medical software and healthcare information technology (HIT), workflow and processes, and integration/ interfacing, HITECH/ Meaningful Use, electronic health record (EHR), and endoscopy medical vocabulary, anatomy, and procedures in order to relay information to potential customers. Experience in a GI endoscopy medical setting is preferred. Attention to detail and ability to follow through and respond to customers in a prompt manner. Must have reliable transportation and be proficient in scheduling appointments in a manner necessary to grow business. Experience giving product presentations and web demonstrations are required. An existing endoscopy book of business and industry relationships are sought.
