Hospital Call Points

I would like to compile a list of the main hospital call points:central sterile, material mgt, etc. Is there a list or can someone help me. Thank you.

I'm not aware of an existing list and the call points vary depending on the level of institution (eg: Trauma Ctr Vs. Community Hospital, Academic Vs. non-Academic) but from my experience (23yrs) here goes:

Materials Management
Operating Room
Emergency Department
Intensive Care (ICU)
Neuro ICU
Surgical ICU
Cardiac Care ICU
Radiology
Cardiac Cath Lab
Anesthesiology
Oncology
Cardiology
Orthopaedic Surgery
(All Surgical Departments)
Urology
Gastroenterology
(All Medicine Departments)

There are more but I think you get the general idea. Hope this helps.

I would think that the Biomed dept. would be crucial especially if you are selling equipment. Don't forget the NICU and L&D also Infection Control.
