I am currently getting ready for a second interview for a marketing rep position for an Ahlzheimer assisted living facility. I have over 20 years experience in sales (6 in outside, commision + draw basis), various other sales, customer service and marketing management positions. I have very strong interpersonal and communication skills. I do not have experience in the healthcare industry. I am doing as much research as I can to educate myself about the industry, the culture and really get a leg-up on my competition for this position. I have extensive personal experience with family that has chronic illness (including ahlzheimers). I am looking for any advice on what I can do to win this marketing rep position? Thanks!

The best way to show that you are the right person for the job is to prove that you understand their business and their needs. I assume you would be marketing their services to other referral sources or direct to patient families. Go in with some ideas of how you could accomplish the job.
