United Prosthetics & Orthotics, LLC., is a leading manufacturer of prosthetics and orthotic devices for the surgical and medical field. We have a solid growth pattern and as such, we seek new and expanded sales territories. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking professionals in the medical device field who wish to increase their income by assisting surgeons, physical therapists and patients with prosthetic and orthotic limb replacements.
The Independent Sales Representative is responsible for growing our device sales and services in his/her assigned sales territory. He/she will emphasize our product features and superior customer service by calling on clients, surgeons, hospitals and physician offices within their assigned territory. They will prepare and submit sales contracts for orders and visit clinical establishments to evaluate needs and to define appropriate products and service solutions. The successful Independent Sales Representative will contact new or existing customers, answer customers questions about products and services, quote prices, availability, credit terms, or other bid specifications.
Requirements:
Develop constructive and cooperative relationships with surgeons, hospitals and others and maintain them over time. Make cold calls, attends trade shows and conferences.
Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work.
Provide information to the Sales Office by phone, email, or in person for review of orders and credit data.
Communicate with people outside of our organization, represent the organization to customers, the public, government agencies, and other external sources to educate and create awareness of and interest in our product and service lines.
Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Analyzing patient information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
Establishing long-range objectives and specifying strategies and actions to achieve them.
Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
Maintain customer records, using automated systems.
