		In the late 1990's, a group of medical technology sales, marketing and business development professionals (in-house managers, field salespeople and yes, even an executive or two) with experience in devices, pharmaceuticals and biotech founded a company to meet fundamental needs of people like themselves, in three areas: Information, Networking and Career Advancement. The founders believed that by using electronic media and the Internet wisely, their organization could deliver powerful tools and relevant information much more efficiently and economically, and that this would make possible a key ingredient for success: participation by everyone, at every level.
