Exagen Diagnostics Creates an Executive Committee and Adds Corporate Controller
ALBUQUERQUE, NM--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--Jul 21, 2006 -- Exagen Diagnostics, Inc., which develops and commercializes genomic marker-based in vitro diagnostic (IVD) kits for predicting risk of recurrence or treatment response, today announced that it has created an executive committee from their senior management team and named Dana Scofield, CPA, as controller.Members of the Exagen executive committee include: James A. MCClintic, CEO; Robert A. Mignatti, President and COO; Tom Williams, M.D., Chief Scientific Officer, VP, R&D; Luc van Hove, M.D., PHD, CSSBB, VP, Quality, Regulatory, Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer; and Dana Scofield, CPA, Controller.
Scofield comes to Exagen from Austin-based Esoterix, Inc., where she held positions as executive director of billing and director of finance. She has also worked as a senior auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, and Coopers & Lybrand, LLP. As controller, Scofield is responsible for establishing standard cost accounting and an FDA-compliant inventory tracking system, as well as analyzing and preparing the company's financial records and reports. She will be based in Austin, Texas.
