Owens & Minor and Broadlane Sign New Five-Year Medical/Surgical Distribution Agreement
RICHMOND, Va. & DALLAS--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Owens & Minor (NYSE: OMI ) and Broadlane announced today that they have signed a new five-year agreement under which Owens & Minor will continue to provide Broadlane hospital clients with medical and surgical distribution services. The new agreement, which is effective February 1, 2007, extends a relationship that was initiated in 1999.Under the new agreement, Broadlane clients will continue to benefit from Owens & Minor's supply chain management expertise and will gain greater access to Owens & Minor's data management tools. This will further enrich Broadlane's already industry leading data analytics and allow Broadlane to offer its clients deeper insight into supply chain operations.
