Tri-anim Releases Remeex(TM) Needleless(TM) Sling System for Female Incontinence at ACOG
SYLMAR, Calif.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Tri-anim, the nation's largest provider of specialty sales and distribution solutions for healthcare, announced today that it will launch the Remeex(TM) Needleless(TM) Sling System, a revolutionary minimally invasive (single incision) product for female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) at ACOG 2007 in San Diego, California (May 5-9).The Remeex Needleless Sling System is a one incision, minimally invasive, surgical procedure that has had great acceptance in Europe and has recently received FDA Clearance for use in the United States. Unlike many other sling systems, currently on the market, the Remeex Needleless Sling System only requires that a patient have a single vaginal incision for the placement of a Macroporous Knotless Mesh Sling. This is achieved, in part, by the use of a patented Pocket Positioning System that, once placed, is self-anchoring and provides tension free support of the ureter. Although this procedure will initially be performed in operating rooms it is expected to migrate to in-office use.
