Sepracor Inc. Announces Appointment of Lisa Ricciardi as Board Member
MARLBOROUGH, Mass.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Sepracor Inc. (Nasdaq: SEPR ) today announced the appointment of Lisa Ricciardi as a new member of Sepracor’s Board of Directors.Ms. Ricciardi is currently an Adjunct Partner at Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, a venture capital firm, where she is responsible for advising portfolio companies and is involved with deal sourcing and funding. Prior to joining Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, Ms. Ricciardi was Senior Vice President of Licensing Development for Pfizer, Inc. In this role, Ms. Ricciardi led the overall licensing process and negotiations for several complex, multinational transactions with research-based pharmaceutical companies worldwide, and was responsible for sourcing a significant portion of Pfizer’s early- and late-stage development pipeline from 1998 to early 2007. Ms. Ricciardi also held roles of increasing responsibility in product marketing while at Pfizer, including Team Leader and Group Leader for the anti-infectives portfolio, which included ZITHROMAX® and Trovan®, and Product Manager for NORVASC®.
