Impulse Monitoring Names Christopher Brown Vice President of Sales
COLUMBIA, Md.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Impulse Monitoring, Inc. (IMI), a leading provider of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) services to hospitals, has named Christopher Brown, Vice President-Sales. A veteran of 18 years in healthcare sales, Brown began his career with AMSCO International, a provider of capital equipment to hospitals. AMSCO was subsequently acquired in 1996 by STERIS Corporation, a provider of a wide range of equipment, consumables and services to healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial and government customers. Brown joins IMI from InteliStaf where he served as Vice President and General Manager of its $110 million division travel staffing division and played a key role in a company turnaround strategy that led to its sale in July 2007.At STERIS, Brown served in a variety of sales and marketing management and executive positions, ultimately heading an organization of five regions that was comprised of 50 people, including 30 sales representatives. Additionally, he was responsible for the successful development of that company’s Surgical and Critical Care Business Unit.
