Medical Device CRO Alquest Hires Veteran Heart Valve and Pacing Executive
MINNEAPOLIS--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- Medical Device CRO Alquest has hired Vickie Conley, a top market and product development executive specialized in heart valve therapies and cardiac rhythm management.In her distinguished 28-year career, Conley most recently served as Global Director of Strategic Marketing for Structural Heart Disease for Medtronic where, over eight years, she progressed through senior level marketing and business development positions in valve therapies. Prior to Medtronic, Conley worked nine years at Guidant as a product development and marketing expert specialized in implantable defibrillators and cardiac pacing. Her product experience includes ICDs, pacemakers, leads, perfusion, cannula, surgical heart valve repair and replacement, TransCatheter valves, AF ablation and PFO products.
In her new role with Alquest, Conley is Senior Project Manager serving medical device manufacturers in the areas of product development, clinical study design, investigator selection, physician relations, trial management, clinical safety assessments, publication strategy, product training and more.
An RN by training, Conley comes from a strong clinical background that includes eight years in electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, intensive care and medical unit clinical care at Milwaukee County General Hospital. Conley also holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Among her many accomplishments, Conley earned Medtronic’s esteemed 2006 Outstanding Initiative Award and 2007 Star of Excellence Award for her role in bringing Melody, the world's first approved TransCatheter valve to market. She is also author/co-author of 26 product and method patents.
