Heart Force Medical Inc. Appoints Dr. Derek Exner to Clinical Advisory Board
VANCOUVER, BC, April 26, 2011 - (Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network) - Heart Force Medical Inc., a Vancouver-based company that has developed a non-invasive cardiac assessment, monitoring and screening device is pleased to announce that Dr. Derek Exner, MD, MPH has agreed to join the recently formed Clinical Advisory Board.Dr. Derek Exner is a cardiologist, heart rhythm specialist, and Professor at the University of Calgary. He is leading several international research studies. His clinical activities and research focus on identifying people at risk for serious heart rhythm problems, the optimal treatment of these conditions, and the use of device therapy for treating heart failure. Dr. Exner has authored or co-authored more than 200 articles, book chapters, and abstracts, including publications in leading medical journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, Circulation, and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Heart Force Medical Inc. (HFM), a private company, has invented and holds patents for the digital Ballistocardiograph (dBG™). The dBG 300, which is already approved in the United States, Europe and Canada, captures the movement of the heart during each cardiac cycle (heart beat).
