Tris Pharma Hires President for Generic Pharmaceuticals Business
MONMOUTH JUNCTION, N.J., June 20, 2013 -- (Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network) -- Tris Pharma, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative drug delivery technologies, today announced that it has named Janet Penner as President of its new generic pharmaceuticals business.Tris' generic pharmaceuticals business, with its own distinct sales, marketing and distribution, will be responsible for commercializing Tris' Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) while leveraging Tris' considerable manufacturing capabilities. Tris currently has 13 FDA-approved ANDA products, including several 'first-to-market' generics. All of Tris' generic productS.A.e manufactured in its FDA-inspected, S.A.e-of-the art 130,000-square-foot facility in New Jersey.

Janet comes to Tris with a wealth of expertise in the commercialization of generic products. She brings nearly 15 years of experience in leadership roles within the generic pharmaceuticals industry, including AmerisourceBergen, where she was responsible for the purchasing of generic pharmaceuticals. Most recently, Janet headed sales & marketing at CorePharma. Janet haS.A.so held various positions of growing responsibility at General Electric and PepsiCo, and holdS.A. MBA.
